"Il Prepotente" Fish – Handmade Artistic Ceramic Sculpture

He is called "Il Prepotente" (The Bully), but his name is merely a misunderstanding of the sea. Large, massive, and with a determined snout, he seems to command respect at first glance — but beneath that armor lies a noble, impetuous, and generous heart. He is the guardian of tranquil seas, the defender of smaller fish, the one who bravely faces currents to protect those who couldn't make it on their own.

His body, with its rosy and warm hues, reveals the passion and vitality that animate him, while the blue, yellow, bottle green eye and shiny head resemble a mask of water and light: a symbol of his strength and the destiny that guides him. Every detail speaks of a different beauty — not the one that appears, but the one that lives within, invisible and sincere.

Entirely handmade in ceramic with double firing at 1000°C, this sculpted fish is applied to a 2 cm wooden support, which enhances its strong character and scenic presence. A unique work of Italian artistic ceramic, capable of combining irony and poetry, strength and gentleness — as only the sea knows how to do when it teaches us that not everything that shines is fragile, and not everything that is strong lacks heart.
